We have an immediate need for a Software Test Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in our facility in the Bloomington, MN area with a solid ability in requirements-based testing on an embedded platform.


Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Python experience strongly preferred.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


  • Performs software requirements analysis.
  • Turns software requirements into test cases into test procedures and into solutions.
  • Codes, tests, integrates and documents software solutions

•Professional and experienced understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories and skilled at applying technical standards

•Very solid ability to recognize and clearly report relevant information such as defects, potential work-arounds, and path's forward

•Solid experience developing test procedures

•Solid skills in test execution, troubleshooting, problem resolution

•Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
•Able to find the fun in a technical, high-complexity environment
