We are looking for an Exchange Engineer to join our team working on building and maintaining our various product and development platforms in the Ames, IA area. You will be writing software to configure servers, not manually configuring them each time.  You won’t be deploying code, you will build tools so that anyone in engineering at our clients can deploy their code.  You won’t be monitoring alerts, you’ll be building scripts/ tools to resolve production problems automatically.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities include all the following but are not limited to:              
 • Expert knowledge functioning as an Exchange & Skype for Business Engineer
• Must be passionate about cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft solutions
• Previous experience with an Office 365 deployment
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, ADFS, Domain Servers, DNS
• Demonstrated experience with Exchange Online, Exchange migrations, email solutions
• Experience with Exchange Server 2007 thru 2016, with migrations from Exchange 2003
• Experience with Skype for Business / Lync (On premise and Online)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (AAD Sync) is a plus
• Comfortable with PowerShell and scripting
• Understanding Firewall solutions and security
• Experience with Microsoft EMS (Enterprise Mobility Suite)
• Other duties as assigned
 
Education:   

Bachelor’s Degree or its International Equivalent – Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technologies or Related Field [or equivalent experience]
 
Experience:  
•  7+ years of System Administration experience in Enterprise Class Environments, 5+ years of IT knowledge and demonstrated hands-on experience and/or training in Network/UCC Engineering and Administration including 2 to 4 years in Unified Communication & Collaboration space
•  Very strong experience with all recent versions of Microsoft Windows Server
•  Solid power shell and scripting ability
•  Strong experience with ITIL, Change Management, process, automation
•  Strong experience with DevOps
•  Experience with structured problem solving (8D)
•  Experience with ActiveSync and InTune a plus
•  Experience working with SCOM/SCCM/WSUS in an enterprise environment a plus
•  Experience with Exchange archiving technologies
•  Experience with disaster recovery solutions
•  Solid understanding of network and data security
•  Positive, team oriented attitude capable of working within a team and able to work with minimal supervision
•  Strong communication and customer service skills, Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing
•  Solid troubleshooting skills
•  Solid understanding of High Availability, Production Server Platforms
•  Excellent documentation skills
•  Experience supporting telephony, video, network and other collaboration devices
• Must possess strong organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively relate to client needs
          
Certifications (Preferred):   

MCSE Productivity or previous generation MSCE Certification; MCSA: Office 365; CCNA Collaboration; CCIE Collaboration; CCNP Collaboration;
